Sheriff Christy Knowles-Ozaukee County   Christy Knowles started her law enforcement career in 1999 as a Deputy Sheriff assigned to the Jail Division. Since then, she has held the positions of Patrol Deputy, Detective, Lieutenant, Captain, and Undersheriff before being elected to the Office of Sheriff in 2022. Christy attended Marquette University and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She is a graduate of the Northwestern University-Staff & Command College and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy in Quantico Virginia. Christy has been influential in starting the officer wellness program at the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office, which includes most recently the Co-Responder Unit. She has also overseen the consolidation of the county-wide dispatch center. Christy is a mother of three children and is involved in her community, volunteering with anything related to her kids.

Rob Bassett, will speak to the club as part of our Foundation Month.  Rob represents district 6270 Giving/Gifting Committee (which includes Foundation, Polio + and Benefactor, as well as the Paul Harris Society.  Rob is a member of the Mitchell Field Milwaukee Rotary Club. Giving/Gifting (Paul Harris Society, Annual Giving, Benefactor)

It typically highlights their career or field of expertise, key life experiences, and reasons for joining Rotary, helping fellow members better understand who they are and fostering connection and relationship-building within the club.

Pastor Pat Brown of Christ Alone Church and School will share with the club news of the current and future exspantions to Christ Alone's school and how it will provide great posstive impacts to the Mequon-Thiensville community

As a requested speaker of the membership committee, Cindy Petted, who serves as the Public Image Chair for District 6270, will share and refresh the club on Rotary tools.

Cindy Petted joined the Rotary Club of Cedarburg-Grafton in April 2019, bringing with her a strong background in computer software development, fundraising, and corporate event planning. Her passion for empowering end-users with the tools and knowledge they need quickly became evident. Within the first months as a Rotary member, Cindy revitalized her Club’s website, reintroduced its weekly newsletter, and joined District 6270's Technology Committee, where she now serves as co-chair and the District's webmaster. Recently, she played a key role in transitioning the TriCon team, our 3-District Conference organizers, to the ClubRunner platform, and continues to provide personalized training sessions for ClubRunner users across the district and the country. Cindy’s dedication to Service Above Self coupled with her expertise has made her a valuable resource in the Rotary community.
