Grant and Donation Requests
Invest in our Community Through the Mequon-Thiensville Sunrise Rotary
Each year the M-T Sunrise Rotary Club funds dozens of grant requests in our community. Your organization is welcome to apply for a grant if you meet the criteria.
Applications for grants and donations must be submitted for consideration by April 15th.
Requests shall be made on line at mtsunriserotary.org (fillable Google Form).
Review Process
- Applications for grants and donations will be reviewed by the Mequon Thiensville Sunrise Rotary Grants and Donations Committee on a biannual basis.
- While applications are accepted throughout the year, the committee shall review requests on the following schedule:
- Application cutoff Date #1: October 15 - Review and scheduled disbursement on or about December 31st
- Application cutoff Date #2: April 15 - Review and scheduled disbursement on or about June 30th
- NOTE: The committee will accept requests related to emergency situations at any time throughout the year (e.g., significant illness/injury, fire recovery, loss of home, etc.)
- Our standard range for grant and donation distribution is between $250-$2,500.
- The Committee may arrange for an oral presentation by the applicant organization for any grant or donation request.
- As a guiding principle, the Mequon Thiensville Sunrise Rotary will accept requests from an organization one time per Rotary year.
Award Process
- The Committee will notify the recipient of award and may request a representative attend and pick up the check at our weekly meeting.
- The Club reserves the right to request a written or verbal summary of the utilization of the awarded grant or donation.

Rotary encourages honesty, fairness, and service in the workplace and helps people use their skills to help others. - Building Friendships and Understanding (Club Service)
Rotary brings people together from different backgrounds to build friendships, respect, and cooperation. - Supporting Young People (New Generations Service)
Rotary invests in youth through leadership programs, scholarships, mentoring, and opportunities to serve.
