Land Restoration
Land Restoration Update from Christine Bohn

Exciting news from the Land Restoration School! Over the past month, their dedicated team worked diligently to expand buckthorn treatment areas, improve the entrance and trails, and continue progress from previous restoration efforts.

Their work has been enthusiastically received by park visitors, many of whom expressed awareness and appreciation for the woods' ongoing stewardship.

The three zones in Orange are the areas where the young Land Restoration School graduates have been working over the last five months to remove buckthorn.

Stroll through the area and admire the fruits of their labor—it’s a great way to support the restoration efforts!
