My wife Nancy and I moved to Mequon after living in Chicago for over twenty years. While we loved life in the Windy City, it was time to be closer to family. My mother still lives in West Bend, while my mother-in-law lives in an assisted living home in Kenosha. Unfortunately, my father-in-law passed away at 95 years old, but we are grateful to have spent so much time caring for our parents these past few years. We love living at Spur 16; most sunny afternoons I can be found riding my bike on the interurban trail, while evenings often consist of a nice dinner and live music with family and friends. Joining Rotary and the Mequon-Thiensville Historical Society has made me feel a part of this vibrant community, and I look forward to becoming even more involved in the future.
