Sure, most members of our club know I’m a Catholic priest, but not everyone knows things about me that usually don’t accompany such a profession.

Born/raised in Wichita, Kansas.  Trained in lithographic photography at MATC, 1959.  Cook and baker for 40 people for a year in Iowa.  Full-service hand bookkeeper 10 years, and in computer applications for 11 years.  First and only male student and graduate in the 100+ year history of an all-girls college (I put the “co” in “co-ed.”)    Provincial Superior of the USA Province of my religious Order, and CFO for it for three years.   FCC General Class ham radio operator 7 years.  Taught and called Square Dance eight years in three states as full member of International Callers Association (Callerlab).  Won blue ribbon at Elko County (NV) Fair for baking cookie bars.  Officer or board member of organizations dealing with drug and alcohol abuse, home health, domestic violence, and mental health.  Taught English as a Second Language in Alabama to Asian immigrants.  This summer celebrating Golden anniversary of Ordination.  Proudest accomplishment: with one other person, reducing the youth suicide rate in Elko County, Nevada from the highest in the nation (at that time) to zero in 18 months. (Long story.)    Elko County Citizen of the year 1986, and cited by Nevada Governor Bryan.   Twenty-three years as a Rotarian in four states.   Now adjunct chaplain at Alexian Village.

The End.  (Mercifully.)
