... Sunday, April 28 ...
The set-up time is noon to 1 p.m. The Arbor Day tree/shrub give-away at River Barn Park event time is 1:00 to 3:00 p.m
. - City of Mequon's ARBOR DAY CELEBRATION and native tree/shrub give-away at River Barn Park.
Sunrise Rotary Club will have a table & photo display about our environmental activities, and we need volunteers to be at the table and engage passersby in conversation about Rotary, our community & environmental services. My notes from previous conversations are a little sketchy, buy I believe Dean volunteered to provide & set up the photo display we're used in the past year or so. Dave Schlageter said he can be there for part of the time. Doreen - if you have extra copies of the materials you produced for the Candlelight Walk that invite donations or anything else you've worked up ... that would be good to distribute.
And, if others of you have volunteered or CAN volunteer to spend a half hour or so to help promote Rotary and environmental services at River Barn Park, please let me know.
You might also be able to pick up one or more seedling tree or shrub to plant!!
