Understanding Sexual Violence and Supporting Survivors

Learn about all the services Advocates of Ozaukee provides to domestic and sexual violence survivors.  Discuss dynamics of sexual violence and other forms of abuseGain an understanding of how to support victims.  Presentation will be interactive.  There will be a group activity.

Mary Knetter is the Sexual Violence Victim Services Director at Advocates of Ozaukee.  She has worked over 26 years with survivors of domestic and sexual violence and their families.  In addition, she provides workshops, trainings and presentations to youth and adults on issues surrounding domestic violence, dating violence, harassment, consent and sexual assault.
