Anna Sattler is the current Editorial Intern at the International Peace Institute (IPI), based in New York City. Her work at IPI includes the reviewing and editing of papers written by policy fellows, reporting on UN peacekeeping missions for the institute’s online periodical, the Global Observatory, providing data analysis support to policy fellows, and maintaining records on the impact of IPI publications, among other duties. 

Anna graduated from Cornell University in December 2020, receiving her B.A. in Government. She also minored in International Relations and German Area Studies. While at Cornell, she studied international affairs, comparative government, history, and foreign language. She speaks three languages (German, Polish, and Russian) and studied abroad in Kraków, Poland last spring.  

Anna plans to pursue a Master’s in international relations or international development. Eventually, she hopes to attend law school and specialize in international human rights law. 

In her free time, Anna enjoys baking, programming, playing pickleball, and Zooming with her friends. She currently lives in Cedarburg.
