Rotarian Alumni Reunion Event & Fundraiser

We will be having an Rotarian Alumni Reunion Event combined with a fundraiser on Thursday night April 21st.  Connie has reserved the Pavilion at Rotary Park from 6 - 8 pm.  8 pm will be a loose end time.

I am aware of potential for weather in Wisconsin and other potential conflicts.  But, have decided to choose this date and move forward to the best of our ability.  This gives us some time to plan and still act with some level of haste.  
 
I appreciate everyone's help and support.  Please reach out to me or Dan if you have something specific you would like to help with.  Dan is running this through "Community Service" and will be reaching out to past Rotarians via phone to attend the event.  Dick will be helping him do this.  If you would like to help with reaching out, please contact Dan.  
 
We will be having a cookout.  I am in contact with several Ukrainian friends and family members who will be providing some Ukrainian food in addition to the main grilled food.  If you would like to be involved with the food please let me know.  I will be figuring out the financial component of what is required to attend the event.  But, I would like to make this almost like a Potluck Grill out.  It would be ideal if we could show up with no required costs.  I am working on a meat donation or at least a greatly reduced cost.
 
We will have 2 presentations during the event.  1 on the Sunrise Rotary and what we have been up to.  And a 2nd about the Shelter Box and the need in the Ukraine.  
 
We will do a donation opportunity at some point.  As well as few live auction items.  If someone has a live auction item they would like to donate let me know. 
 
Lastly, while this is an Alumni event.  This is also a great opportunity to reach out to others in the community and I believe many people will be looking for a way to help people in the Ukraine.  SO, spread the word.  Invite whoever you feel it is appropriate to invite.
