Hope Without Borders has grown a lot in the last several years, but our mission remains the same -  empowering people and transforming communities. We help the needy, vulnerable to change their lives as they learn new skills,  technologies and capabilities. When someone learns a new skill, they teach someone else, and in the end you have helped entire communities.

We are about community development, whether in America or abroad. Many in despair have "basic needs" such as clean water, safe sanitation, nutritious food, health-dental care, adequate shelter and education, which many of us take for granted. We empower, inspire and resource individuals and communities in need starting with their strengths, listening, learning and working together on life-changing sustainable development initiatives.

Community development ideas flourish, but the landscape is littered by numerous failed agency,  government and organization projects at a devastating loss to the most needy. We believe working and serving together we can change the lives of the needy worldwide spreading HOPE one person and one community at a time.

Our Mission/Goals

To help developing communities interested in partnering work on projects to achieve sustainable community development. Effective partnering requires developing communities to be actively involved in all phases including planning, project decision-making, innovative approaches, creative alternatives, appropriate technologies, mobilizing local-global resources-funding, implementation, and monitoring outcomes to integrate local indigenous and breakthrough external technical-social-cultural solutions. Developing communities must supply a portion of the funding and/or labor in initiating, planning, designing, implementing and monitoring projects to take ownership and ensure continuation of program and projects successes.

A fascinating look into the history and manufacturing of heavy mining equipment.
Long-time residents may better know the company as Harnischfeger or P&H.
Relocated from National Ave, the new facility is only three-years hold and houses 400,000 sq. Ft. of state-of-the-art
manufacturing equipment.

The South Harbor Campus is the new home for the design, large gearing and heavy fabrication of P&H mining shovels,
as well as engineering and test manufacturing for surface drills. It will be a space to innovate and collaborate,
host training and customer visits and proudly display our manufacturing and technological capabilities.
