8:45 to 9:00 am TRANSPORT Tent and Raffle Redbuds from Bill Wandsnider’s HOME TO FESTIVAL CHECK-IN AREA … City Hall Parking Lot - Enter from Mequon Road drive between Cemetery & Railroad Track
9:00 to 11:30 am SET-UP ROTARY TENT @ Vendor Site #30, east side of Cedarburg Rd, just south of Settler’s House.(May need to bring portable tables)
NOTE: There will be a Redbud planting demonstration in the garden bed at southwest corner of the Settler’s House during the event … which will draw people to the vicinity of Rotary’s tent
To ensure emergency vehicles have access to Cedarburg Road, vendors’ tents/tables must remain within the parking lanes
Make room for ‘Game Wheel’ for children’s event, ice cream coolers, Rotary display table(s) … a few folding chairs??
Display Redbud plants to attract attention to Raffle
12:00 to 5:00 pm FESTIVAL IS OPEN … Need Rotarians to be hosts at the tent throughout the event … engage Festival-goers, talk about Rotary, Sell raffle tickets!!, help children spin the wheel & ‘win’ ice cream. SEE SIGN-UP LIST ON PAGE 2
4:30 to 5:30 pm START CLEAN UP … Remain “open” until 5, but some clean up may begin. 5 PM – Take Tent Down & Pack as quickly as possible … AT 5:30- Mequon P.D. & Festival Staff will begin releasing vendors. If we are not ready to move out when staffers get to our site, we’ll have to wait until they go down the line and come back to our site
6:00 PM – ALL FESTIVAL VENDORS MUST BE OFF THE STREET
