NO Meeting New Year
The speaker committee is seeking your ideas for presentations or speakers to create exciting programs. Please submit your suggestions to them.
We are about to start a new year for Rotary. We are always looking for speakers. There are no set rules for the speakers, and we welcome a diverse group of people. If you have anyone in mind, please contact me via email, and we will work to invite them to a meeting.
Jim DeLillo is an IT System Analyst working for the mining manufacturing company Komatsu in South Harbor, Milwaukee.
He lives in Cedarburg, WI, with his wife, Judy.
Jim has a grown son, Ben, who lives near Boston as a software developer. Judy’s three grown children include Veronica, who lives in Mequon; Dan, a retired Air Force explosive disposal specialist; and John, a CNA in Colorado. They have six grandchildren.
He is also an award-winning, internationally published photographer.
We need your leadership to help raise funds and awareness for The Rotary Foundation this Giving Tuesday, 2 December.
This global day of generosity is an opportunity for all members to make a big impact with a gift of any size. A donation to Annual Fund-SHAREsupports projects you’re passionate about, both in your community and around the world. A gift to PolioPlus helps transport vaccines and immunize children to keep them safe.
Here’s how you can help prepare the Rotary Club of Mequon-Thiensville Sunrise for Giving Tuesday:
Download our GivingTuesday graphics and share them with others.
The Rotary Foundation will again recognize the top three clubs in fundraising, donor participation, and online giving. Find out which clubs were recognized last year and set a giving goal for your club this year. Just be sure the gifts are made on 2 December!
Thank you for your leadership and support, James. As we approach this day of giving, remind other members that every contribution, no matter the size, helps Rotary create positive change in the world.
We know that with your help, together we can make an even bigger impact this Giving Tuesday!
