Ann Jacobs - Chair, Wisconsin Elections Commission

What is the Wisconsin Elections Commission & how does it ensure the integrity of our election?

The Wisconsin Elections Commission (WEC) is the state's primary agency overseeing and administering elections to ensure they are conducted fairly and in compliance with state and federal laws. Established in 2016, the WEC took over responsibilities from the former Government Accountability Board. It handles various election-related duties, including voter registration, maintaining the statewide voter database, assisting local election officials, and ensuring the integrity of both local and statewide elections.
