I grew up in Shorewood. The youngest of three by many years.  My sister who was 11 when I was born loved to tell the story that she heard my mom crying on the phone thinking she had a brain tumor only to discover she was pregnant with me.  My brother 16 would carry me around to meet girls.

My father was often mistaken for my grandfather. He died when I was 13, I was the apple of his eye and much loved by all. My mother who denied I was a mistake when I was young later said I was the best mistake she ever made. She suffered from Alzheimer’s and I cared for her for many years.

My greatest joy comes from my three children Haley 27 who lives in Brooklyn, Emily 25 who lives in Milwaukee and Marty 21 who lives in Osaka, Japan. When I am not working I love to travel, ski both snow and water, bike and hike.

Rotary has meant a lot to me both personally and professionally. I often refer to my “Rotary Family”, I am thankful and proud to be a member of this great organization.
