On behalf of the Mequon-Thiensville Community Foundation (MTCF), we would like to thank you for attending this year's Pillars of the Community Event on June 4th to honor former Mayor Connie Pukaite and her many contributions to the City of Mequon and the Village of Thiensville. The event was a resounding success with over 275 in attendance and a sold-out crowd, including many past mayors and other dignitaries. What a wonderful outpouring to show Connie firsthand the appreciation and respect we have for all she has done for our two communities!

Because of you, we were able to net $75,000 at the luncheon, with an impressive $45,000 being contributed during the paddle raise portion of the event! As you might recall, these monies will be used to develop a connector trail between Spirit Lake and Pukaite Woods, located on the northern edge of Rotary Park in Mequon. The remaining $30,000 raised that day will go into our general fund so MTCF can award future grants that align with and promote our mission: enhancing the quality of life in Mequon and Thiensville.

We would like to thank and recognize our generous sponsors: Platinum and Title Sponsor, Gential Financial; Gold Sponsor, Sommer's Automotive Group; and Silver Sponsor, Spectrum Investment Group.

And again, a most heartfelt Thank You to all who attended and helped make this year's POTC luncheon a most successful and memorable event!

With gratitude and appreciation,
