Kathy’s House: Past, Present & Future

Katie Sparks has been hired as Director of Philanthropy at Kathy’s House, Milwaukee.

She brings 14 years of experience in philanthropy relations to this inaugural position and is responsible for developing and carrying out the organization's strategic fundraising and external relations plans as they build a new Home for healing. She strategizes with Board members, oversees event engagement, and partners with external community leaders to raise awareness about the amazing impact Kathy’s House has on families who need a “home away from home” in order to access medical care at local health care systems.

Katie has partnered, worked, and volunteered with both large and small-scale organizations to help to build a culture of philanthropy, including Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee, Schlitz Audubon Nature Center, Neu-Life Community Development, Congregation Shalom, Teens Grow Greens, Wisconsin Black Historical Society, and more.
