Daily Life in Peru

Albert Alcarraz is a bilingual lawyer who specializes in administrative and business law. He is the father of three and lives with his wife in the Rimac District of Lima, Peru. Albert was recently laid off as the Director of the San Juan campus of EIGER in Lima and is now studying for an advanced law degree.

EIGER is a school that was started by a Rotarian about 25 years ago. The founder, Viktor Cipriani, believed that in order to get ahead, students need to know computers, business, and English.

Since its inception with only 20 students, EIGER has served over 1 million students on EIGER campuses throughout Peru. Tuition at EIGER is approximately $10/course. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, most EIGER campuses are now closed, and their future is uncertain.
