The Y is Working Toward a Better Us

Kate Hoffmann – Director of Donor Development at the Feith Family Ozaukee YMCA.  I have lived in Ozaukee County all my life.  I was a teacher before coming to work for the Y in 2013.  My husband, Jerry, and I have five children.  We live in the Town of Saukville on a farm.  We are an avid 4-H family.
 
Kirsten Coenen – Branch Director for the Feith Family Ozaukee YMCA.  Kirsten is originally from Illinois.  She has worked for the YMCA for 12 years.  She and her husband, Sean, live in Port Washington with their 2 year old son, Henry.  Kirsten is expecting a baby in August. 
 
Aaron Schmidt -  District Executive for the Kettle Moraine YMCA.  Aaron has worked for the YMCA for 17 years.  He is a member of the Port Washington Saukville Rotary Club.  Aaron and his wife, Kelly, are originally from Slinger.  They now live in the Town of Cedarburg with their two children. 
 
Our speech topic – “The Y is Working Toward a Better Us”.  The Feith Family Ozaukee YMCA is making a positive impact in Ozaukee County through programs for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.  We will highlight a couple of programs that demonstrate how the Y delivers on our promise to strengthen community.
