M-T Sunrise Rotary Supports Local Veterans at 4th Annual AROUND THE WORLD Fundraiser
The Mequon-Thiensville Sunrise Rotary Club will hold its Annual AROUND THE WORLD dinner on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at 6 PM.
This is not just a dinner but a significant event that profoundly impacts our local and global community.

The event will be held at the River Club of Mequon, 12400 N. Ville Du Parc Dr., Mequon.
Each year, the club has a fund-a-cause. Last year, it was the Guatemala Research Partnership and Oliveros Scholarships in Guatemala. This year, it is closer to home, supporting local veterans.

” Prepare your taste buds for a delightful journey! There is always delicious food, and this year is no exception.
It includes a rich variety of cuisines from the Mediterranean, Cuba, and Thailand.
There will also be wonderful music.
We will host a silent auction throughout the evening, followed by a lively live auction. These auctions feature a variety of fun and tasty items to bid on.
“Last year, the generous donations from the AROUND THE WORLD Event allowed the M-T Sunrise Rotary to assist over 30 different organizations, making a significant impact on our community both locally and globally,” said Vice President Doreen Lettau.
This year’s program promises to be very special, with speakers from around the country who have developed programs and are working with Veterans to support mental health, including the Greater Ozaukee Veterans Project.
