Where were you born, education/degrees or associations/board seats?
I was born in Milwaukee …. A proud graduate of the Milwaukee Vincent High School ... I completed my education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
Anybody who really knows me will attest that I thought I had the talent to become a professional golfer.
Name of company & position, or your very first job?
My first job at the age of 10 was a caddie at North Hills Country Club in Menomonee Falls. The best job I ever had.
Family?
I have been married to my wife Kellie for 22 years we celebrate number 23 on Fathers Day at the US Open…Her idea not mine!!! I have three children—Jessica-Taylor and Cooper.
Interests/hobbies/last book read/favorite movie/what’s playing in on your car’s stereo/pastimes?
I have two current hobbies … as you can guess number one is golf. My second hobby is running. I really enjoy pushing myself to go farther.
Best business decision, or hardest business decision?
Hardest business decision was to leave a vacation rental property management business that I started from scratch in Southern California and move back to Wisconsin.
Biggest career accomplishment/highlight to date, or what do you like best about your job?
I have the ability to impact the lives of seniors every day in a positive way. I see the benefit that I add at a very important part of their lives. It’s a true blessing
Most important lesson that you've learned in business?
Honesty and integrity continue to be the driving force in me. I believe I developed that from how my father conducted himself.
Career mentor/favorite words of wisdom/role model?
My Dad. Enough said
Most memorable Rotary moment or event?
Handing out thanksgiving baskets in Southern California to families who could never have afforded the meal. The smiles and appreciation that I felt impact me to this day!
